Types of Care
Daily Care
Anything from 4hrs to 12hrs of care per day, any days of the week.

In order to qualify for our monthly care rates, you would require at least 3 days of care per week, on a month-to-month basis.
​
Care can also be ad hoc, respite, locum, short-term, or post operation.
​
Some of our day caregivers are also occasionally able to provide short-term live-in care as may be needed or as situations arise.
Live-In Care
10-12 hours of day-time care, plus on-call care during the night.
Your caregiver must be able to sleep an average of 7-8 hours per night but may be woken up once or twice at night for toileting, changing sleeping positions, medication, or drinks. The caregiver will be able to respond to any issues that may arise at night.

This level of care is often recommended to clients who live on their own, have limited mobility, intermediate-advanced dementia, neurological or degenerative disorders, palliative care, acute/chronic conditions, or who are recovering from surgery or serious injury.

24hr Care
Two dedicated caregivers – one working all day, the other all night.

This can be either live-in or live-out. In the case of the former, the day caregiver will sleep at your premises during the night, and the night caregiver will sleep at your premises during the day.

This level of care is appropriate for clients who need additional care during the night, such as those suffering from acute/chronic pain, insomnia, certain neurological disorders etc.
​

Companionship
Sometimes, the only care that’s really required is a friend to rely on.
Let us do the journey with you. We will provide you with a caregiver (as far as possible, always the same caregiver) to come see you regularly and/or to accompany you on trips out.

Our caregivers love spending time with out clients playing card games, going for walks, going shopping, going out for coffee, running errands etc.
Some of our caregivers drive and have vehicles, or Storm is able to provide this service from time to time too.
Equipment
Equipment to help make your everyday life easier and more comfortable.
We provide high-quality equipment from trusted suppliers to assist you in your care needs. Our prices are highly competitive since we are often able to secure discounted prices from our suppliers.

The choice is yours whether to purchase the item outright or to rent it out from us for a given period of time, giving you all the flexibility you need.
​
As an added bonus, we’ll deliver the item right to your home, install it/assemble it for you, and give you a demonstration on how to use it correctly.
Transport
Transport services to make trips out or running errands easier for you.
​
We offer various transportation or courier services.
We can assist you with your discharge from hospital, take you to medical appointments, take you shopping, run errands for you, do airport runs etc.
The added bonus is that we are trained in mobility and transfer support, giving you peace of mind during transfers which may be a little challenging.

2. A free home care visit
We will visit you in your home to discuss your care requirements and to understand your situation. This will help us to provide you with personalized care and place you with a caregiver with a suitable skillset and compatible personality type.
3. A personalised care plan
We create a tailored care plan to suit your personal needs/preferences. We create a WhatsApp group for daily reporting to our managers as well as to your loved ones. We provide an ongoing managed care service - with you each step of the way.

With all our care packages, a WhatsApp group will be established between your loved ones, your carer(s) and one of the Dolphin Coast Care managers. A daily update will be provided by your carer of your activities and overall well-being. We believe open communication and transparency and find that it provides loved ones with peace of mind about the client's well-being.
