Each of our are carers carefully selected through a meticulous vetting and employment process. At Dolphin Coast Care, we are committed to ensuring that every carer meets the highest standards of skill, experience, and reliability.

 

Our recruitment process is thorough and includes identity verification, reference checks, interviews, and a police clearance check. Once selected, carers undergo training with us to prepare them for their role. We also provide person-specific training to ensure the best possible care for each client based on individual needs.

 

We maintain daily communication with both our carers and clients, allowing us to quickly address any concerns and ensure that care remains professional and compassionate.​

​Carer-Client Matching

We know that personality matters and that is why we assess a client’s interests and lifestyle preferences to ensure we match them with the right carer.

 

Our assessment includes questions about daily routines, hobbies, and personal preferences to help us find a carer who aligns with the client’s lifestyle. We also consider factors like communication style, temperament, and any specific care needs such as dietary requirements, mobility assistance, or medical conditions. This thorough evaluation allows us to pair clients with carers who not only provide excellent support but also foster meaningful connections.

 

For specific care needs, we even offer the option of clients and loved ones meeting multiple carers, to interview and choose the one they feel most comfortable with. This personalised approach ensures that each client receives care that not only meets their needs but also enhances their quality of life.​​

We go the extra mile to train, employ and manage our carers on your behalf, handling all administration tasks with precision and care. From ensuring good and competitive wages to timely payments with detailed payslips, we prioritise the well-being and financial security of our carers.

By upholding standards like PAYE, UIF, WCF contributions, and holiday pay (with provisions for carer replacement if necessary), we create a work environment where our carers can thrive, allowing them to focus all their energy and attention on providing you with the highest level of care and companionship.

1. Speak to the team

Call Storm on +27 73 451 8010 to ask for guidance, to talk through your options, and/or to ask any questions you may have. 

2. A free home care visit

We will visit you in your home to discuss your care requirements and to understand your situation. This will help us to provide you with personalized care and place you with a caregiver with a suitable skillset and compatible personality type.

3. A personalised care plan

We create a tailored care plan to suit your personal needs/preferences. We create a WhatsApp group for daily reporting to our managers as well as to your loved ones. We provide an ongoing managed care service - with you each step of the way.

Storm and Sophie, thank you for the outstanding professional care for my Dad.
